DEPOSITS:

We understand that some retailers are asking customers to make full payment up front for a pre-order of an out of stock machine. We don't agree with this, particularly with so many companies not surviving during the Covid crisis and the associated risk of the customer potentially losing their money.
With this in mind:

A. We only ask for a small deposit to secure the order if new stock is not going to arrive within 7-10 working days. The deposit is fully refundable should the order not go ahead e.g. shipment doesn't arrive,

B. Our fully secure SagePay payment service, if you choose to order a product online, is set to not take payment unless we have agreed a delivery date with you. If this is going to be longer than 7-10days then we can offer the deposit option instead.

OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU:

We also understand that many customers are still very nervous about buying over the internet. Security is the main issue and that is why we use one of the most secure servers available

and fulfil all the rules of the Distance Selling Regulations, but it is also difficult to get the right impression of an item when you only have a picture and description to guide you. If you are not happy with your purchase then you can return it to us and receive a full refund.

RETURNING PRODUCTS:

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost and safe return of the product. The only thing we ask, is that you inform us in writing within 14 days from the day you receive the goods. All correspondence regarding the return of the product must be addressed to:

Please return them in the condition that you received them* and in safe (preferably the original, if possible) packaging. Some of the equipment can be quite large and heavy, therefore we strongly advise you to retain the original packaging, because to return this type of product out of its box can cost the customer considerably more. If you require an engineer to dismantle the product then a labour charge will also apply. We will write to you within 14 days of your notification, confirming your cancellation, informing you of a collection date and, if required, the cost of collection and the method of collection. We guarantee, unless you have agreed to other arrangements, to collect the products and refund your money within 30 days of you cancelling the agreement. If Fitness Options has arranged a credit agreement on your behalf, this will automatically be cancelled.
* within the first 14 days of the right of return, a customer can return the item even if it has been assembled and/or used. However, please note that because the item is not in it's original condition the customer risks having to pay for a potential loss of value of the item.

PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT RETURNABLE:


There are certain products, by their nature and usage that cannot be returned. These are;

When you have had goods made to your specification or personalised
Books and magazines
Products that deteriorate or expire rapidly
Nutritional supplements
Goods due to hygiene reasons i.e. heart rate monitors and slimming belts that use perspiration to work, cannot be returned once used. However you have the right to inspect them and return them if unused.

FAULTY PRODUCTS:

Please inform us in writing of faulty products within 7 days. We will arrange for either an engineer to call or offer an exchange. If the faulty goods are to be returned, the returns must be authorised by Fitness Options, unauthorised goods will be refused. You may have to deal direct with the manufacturer. If we cannot remedy the problem to your satisfaction we will refund you in full.

DELIVERY CHARGES:

Delivery is free of charge to all destinations in England and Wales unless otherwise indicated. Any carriage that is required will be clearly marked. However, a surcharge will apply to built items and areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles and all European destinations in which case you will need to telephone 0115 9736444 for a quote. Orders placed through the store may carry a different delivery charge to orders placed on-line.

DELIVERY BY CARRIER:

All goods will arrive flat packed and require a signature on delivery. If you have requested delivery on a specific date Fitness Options will endeavour to fulfil your request, but because we are using a third party, we cannot guarantee it. Fitness Options will not accept liability for failure to deliver on the stated date. Carriers will not deliver at specific times, however deliveries before 9.00am, 10.00am, 12.00am and Saturday morning can be arranged at a premium. DELIVERY BY FITNESS OPTIONS ENGINEERS:

We will always try to arrive at the arranged time, however we cannot be held responsible for late arrival due to unusual traffic situations and circumstances beyond our control. We will also try to place the equipment in your required location, but this is not always possible due to the weight and size of the equipment and the access available to us.

DELIVERY BY MANUFACTURER:

If the manufacturer carries out the delivery you may be asked to deal direct with the manufacturer.

INSTALLATION CHARGES:

Unless otherwise indicted these will vary depending on the complexity of the install, the products purchased and the distances involved. Please ask for a quote.

VAT POLICY:

Where applicable all prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%.

TITLE OF GOODS

The goods remain the property of Fitness Options (Nottm) Ltd until the goods are paid for in full.

EQUIPMENT WARRANTIES:

The equipment must be used in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and in the environment for which it was designed and the manufacturer's guarantees will only apply if these are adhered to. Warranties will be invalidated if Fitness Options considers that the equipment has been damaged through misuse, abuse or neglect. These warranties add to your legal rights – they do not replace them.

EQUIPMENT USAGE:

Although nearly all the equipment comes with a user manual and Fitness Options staff are always happy to give you advice, we cannot be held personally responsible for your health and safety. If you are at all unsure whether it is safe for you to work out or use the equipment please consult your doctor or specialist and get their agreement. Likewise, if you are on medication or suffer from a health related problem, please get this checked out with your doctor before commencing any exercise routines.

BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS (B2B) RETURNS POLICY:

Please call us to discuss any issues as business PO's are binding contracts and therefore returns are not usually possible unless the item is genuinely faulty, but that would usually be dealth with via a warranty claim rather than a return.
In the event that a return may be agreed (there is no legal requirement for this to be so) then please note that installation and/or delivery charges are not refundable in any case and there may be a further charge to remove and/or collect the item(s) if the item has been installed and/or used and therefore not in it's original packaging or condition.
