To help patients with limited mobility, injuries and specific physical therapy requirements, the pedals can be moved along the crank to accommodate range of motion as small as 15 degrees. Smaller degrees render smaller circular lower body motions, so that patients can complete a full 360 degree stroke during rehabilitation. Cranks are indexed for keeping track of how far you have improved, as well as for precise repetition. The oversized padded seat can be positioned with precision, both vertical and horizontally to achieve the correct saddle to pedal ratio. The 0- 50 levels of pedal resistance can be engaged in both forward and reverse pedal motion, to measure imbalance in quads and hamstrings. Large, bright LED windows are easy for users and clinicians to monitor important workout data at a glance. The console displays essential, real-time patient performance feedback. Patient data can be streamed at the same time. Windows display time, rotations per minute, watts, calories, METs, heart rate, and power. Tracking progress is made simple with METs/Watts measurements and downloadable workout data. Also available is Bi-lateral power measurements. Basically it shows the power generated by the right and left leg in watts as well as showing it in a graphical display. This allows careful monitoring of asymmetry and mobility, so therapists can correct any problems early, resulting in a faster recovery. With a user weight of 31.5 stone this bike is also suitable for many bariatric patients.
